question from a dumbo
I don't really play games on my pc but quite fancy getting a handheld to
play those "brain training" type games on (The power of advertising!)
Is it better to get a DS lite or a PSP?

Almost surely a DS lite. I believe there are some of that kind of
game for PSPs, but there are more for the DS, I think. And the DS is
cheaper.

*Are* there any brain training games on the PSP? As opposed to finger
breaking games, I mean.

There's Mind Quiz
<http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/psp/mindquiz>, Carol
Vorderman's Sudoku
<http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/psp/carolvordermanssudoku>.
(Sudoku doesn't necessarily count, I guess.)

DS Lite, no doubt about it. It's cheaper, the battery lasts much longer
and the stylus input is perfect for Brain Training puzzle type of games
(as well as many other things).

Are there any decent ones for the PSP?

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

DS, but be aware there's large amount of bandwagon jumping going on,
meaning many utterly shit half-arsed brain training games. So be choosy!
