I wouldn't pay more than £60 for that lot. At least four of those games have
been less than a fiver each recently, and a new GC with Mario Kart can be had
for £50.
Gamestation do second hand GCs with two pads and two (decent) games for £45
too.

I guess it depends on where you come from.
A new gamecube sells for around the £30 mark these days when you catch them
in a sale. This would come with one controller. If you got one for second
hand, £30 is the tops you'd pay.
Second controller's cost about £8 new for Nintendo and currently 99p at
Argos (not sure if they are Nintendo or not).
*** In fact a lot of Nintendo stuff is going for 99p at Argos at the moment.
***
Anyway, out of your other games, the ones that are any good are Super Mario
Sunshine (£15 - new) and Double Dash and possibly some people like Rogue
Squadron (but that's a cheap game anyway). All the other games are dirt
cheap. Look at www.gamestracker.co.uk and www.ebay.co.uk to get an average
idea of the cost of a new/second hand game.
Also, when you buy second hand consoles, you have to think about wear and
tear and whether the pads respond well. You may have to get new pads soon.
Also, the chap has 2 memory cards. I'll bet at least one of them is low
capacity and possibly came from Pokemon Colosseum.
The counterside to this argument is that when the chap sold you this stuff,
you had already agreed on a price. If this is the case, you really should
honour the sale unless it was a hard sell or if he told you that you could
borrow the stuff and make up your mind later.
To be very blunt, the stuff he's selling you is not worth £100. I
personally wouldn't pay more than £50 for the lot. The games are worth
about £5 each (except Super Mario Sunshine and Double Dash). The
non-Ninendo controller is worthless.
Either the chap's not got a decent selection of games but he's probably
flogged his better games seperately before selling the remaining stuff with
the cube.

That's how I sold my old door stopper.....erm, erm XBOX even. I sold the
average games and 'console' on ebay as a package, then sold the small few
killer titles, in mint condition like all my games (another important
factor, OP, did you check the discs respective quality?), separately in
their own auctions. I made a good, fair price for it this way. Certainly
fairer than this deal.
I would say to the OP, yes all that is worth £100......but not in today's
climate. I'd pay £100 for Super Mario Sunshine alone......but I wouldn't as
I can get it for £10-£15. So, yes....it's worth it, but don't pay it. You
can get a better deal elsewhere. But if you feel you have to honour it, just
think that a few more quid will get you playing Zelda and Resident Evil
4......at that point, you can't measure it in terms of money - you are
experiencing gaming heaven...and that's priceless. :)
I have to be awkward, huh? :)
P.S,
If that were me, I wouldn't honour a sale out of any misplaced feeling of
obligation, as you have been, IMO, misadvised to do. Anyone worth honouring
wouldn't try to rip you off, that's my take. Tell him to kiss your stinking
ringpiece, and take your pennies elsewhere. Preferably to one of the places
selling Cubes new for £30, although I have never, ever saw one of these
deals myself. I thought £65 was cheap at Makro - so this is a shock to me.
£30 for a little box of Nintendo goodness is a steal. Also, ignore the
dickhead who thinks wanting a Cube makes you a retard, the same guy probably
pulls his pud over pictures of the Slim PS2 every night. Or gets his
chuffties counting the processing calculations of the Kecksbox360! Ignore
him! ;)

In a moment of madness before Christmas (I was *really* skint) the game
shops only offered me 15ukp cash or 20ukp exchange.
I'm glad I kept the `cube now, it's a sexy looking thing after all....
Cheers.

I bet you are. It's sacrilegious to even talk of the Cube in terms of such
low monetary value.....it's an amazing piece of kit, and far more powerful
than the PS2 which is still £99. I will keep mine forever, even if it
breaks. I have all my old consoles, I'm a sentimental old git. The only
console I've ever sold was an Xbox, that had absolutely no value to
me....not even the sentimental kind. I have Master Systems and Megadrives
and SNES's etc....my loft is stuffed with gaming memorabilia. Cube will have
place of honour....though next to N64, which personally brought me the
greatest gaming thrills ever.
