Is there a workaround to get the ninty WAP working on a Mac? I've got
one of the wifi routers that is blacklisted for use with the DS and no
windose machines at home.

If you have an airport card, then just create an adhoc network and
it'll work just dandy.

After doign a google, it doesn't look like it, although you could use an
airport card to do it.

Yeah I've got that hint saved somewhere. Can I use the airport card in
my ibook to connect to the router AND share the connection at the same
time or do I need to plug it in though? I just thought I could pick the
dongle up from the stars catalogue while it was there. Oh well, maybe
Dr. Mario...

To answer my own question NO. I wonder about the dongle though. IME
"windows XP only" with hardware means that they just don't support the
mac but if it uses standard protocols it often works anyway (and often
with less annoyances than a windows machine). But if it needs special
windows only software as well I suppose it's a problem. Macs are pretty
popular in Japan and I'm sure they're quite popular with nintendo people
as well so it seems a bit dim not to have it work with them.

It uses special software, I'm afraid.

Awesome!

I chose the puzzle game over the tennis game because I thought it would
be better suited to a GBA, even though I'd never heard of either. I
already have Metroid 2 otherwise it would have been an easy choice!

It's just occurred to me that I do actually already own Dr Mario via
Wario Ware, though. Hm. Ack, what the hell, it was free!

I only have 1,600 stars, oh well. Too bad we can't register all our past
Nintendo products other than GC, I'd be rolling in stars..

Anyone got any spare stars knocking around I could use? As I understand
you can't register the same thing twice. :)

I bloody missed it as per usual. I must re-set the Ninty Europe site as my
homepage again, I used to get all the goodies when I done that. I have 1,880
stars registered - would I have had enough *if* I had caught it in time?
