I think it's rather fitting that uk.games.video.gamecube should be 
deleted in the week that the Wii is revealed to be quite so great.

But you've provided us with some great times, Mr Cube.  Your list of 
superb games is beyond the capabilities of my memory.  We shall always 
love you for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, for Zelda Four Swords, 
for Pac-Man Vs.  For Donkey Konga.  For the Wind Waker, for Pikmin, for 
Metroid Prime.

But most of all for Super Monkey Ball, and the genius of the octagonal 
casing for your lovely analogue stick.

You may be going, but you will not be forgotten.
