The RFD for renaming uk.games.video.gamecube as uk.games.video.nintendo, which
was passed by the Fast Track method on 2006-02-08, stated that
uk.games.video.gamecube would be removed when the traffic had transferred to
the new group.  It seems that this has now happened, and all of the significan
traffic is now in the new group and only crossposted to the old.

If anyone is still reading uk.games.video.gamecube and not reading
uk.games.video.nintendo they should subscribe to the latter now, and if there
are any problems contact their ISP or other news provider to obtain access to
it.  Note that news.individual.net has been carrying the new group since it
was created.

uk.games.video.gamecube will be removed in around a week from now, news
servers should stop carrying it after that.
