QUOTE:
"NEC receives orders for revolution chips 25.04.06 - NEC received new
orders for production from Nintendo from chips for the revolution
console. The confirmed Toshio Nakajima, the president of NEC, in the
discussion with Bloomberg. The distribution of the construction units
is to take place for the autumn beginning of 2006 at Nintendo, the
console is to then come to the Christmas business on the market."

This almost *has* to revolve around one or two main things, the ATI
Technologies-designed 'Hollywood' GPU for Nintendo Revolution which NEC
will manufacture, just like NEC manufactured the ArtX-designed Flipper
GPU (which ATI acquired) for Gamecube

and/or the intergration of MoSys (Monolithic System Technology, Inc)
embedded 1T-SRAM onto the ATI-designed, NEC-fabbed Hollywood GPU.

how can I be wrong about this?

unless it includes, or is only for, additional, smaller support chips ~
ASICs for Revolution..
