There was a thing about it in EGM this (or last) month. Looks "OK". Is by
the same people as Pokémon.

Aye, I spotted that. I like the graphical style, and the idea of zipping
along tunnels by rotating the drill. VG+ have it on preorder for 40CAD.
But I am STRONG.

Is it one-and-the-same as Bumpy Trot? If so, Jeremy Parish was going
nuts about it somewhere...
No, I was getting confused. I *had* seen Jeremy Parish going nuts about
it, and him going nuts about Bumpy Trot, but they're completely distinct
games.
Anyway, http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3144458&did=1 - looks good
enough for me, I think - except I'll be buying a pile of DS games in the
next few weeks, so I'm not sure I can afford to throw a GBA one in there
too...

Never stops me.

Me neither, to be honest, although with a pile of unplayed games >100
strong, I'm trying to Be Good at the moment. Not that that'll stop me
picking up Phoenix Wright, Trauma Center, Mario + Luigi and Metroid
Pinball when I'm in the US next week, of course.

My trouble is I've started too many. If I stick to one at a time I get
through them fine, but I can't seem to multitask. So I'm focussing on
advance wars DS at the moment. I think Drill Dozer is a dead cert for me
though. Haven't seen an eu release date yet so it's import time.
