Heard of this event taking place in a couple of weeks ...

SPECIAL NEWS:
IT`S OFFICIAL DEFINITIVE GAMES UK FIRST MAGIC RELEASE TOURNAMENT
DAY....

Right the release event is going ahead for the 2nd August, the hall
has been booked and we will have space for about 46 people at least
maybe more.

You can pre-register for the event by private messaging me here. If
you do please let me know your DCI number, if you do not have one, do
not worry you can still enter.
You do not have to pre register, but it helps us know how many people
are coming..

The Venue opens at 10.00am at: St Andrew`s Church Hall, Garmston
Street, in Lincoln, LN2 1HZ with an estimated starting time of 10.45 -
11.00 (This is the Gobstyks Gaming Club venue for anyone who has been
before).

The main tournament is a sealed constructed, so the entry fee is £15,
this covers your entry to the venue (£2) and the Magic Tournament Pack
(Shadowmoor) and 3 Boosters (Eventide). There will be prizes for
everyone who enters, and extra prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd
Place and special nominated Sportsmanship Prize.

Prizes include, boosters, promotional cards, & a Magic Planes walker
Playmat.

After the main event there will be a Standard constructed tournament
(anything prior to the Coldsnap expansion is NOT legal unless
reprinted in a later set) which is £2 to enter, this will only go
ahead if there is enough time., again will be prizes for everyone who
enters, and extra prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and
special nominated Sportsmanship Prize.

There will most likely be spare tables available for anyone wishing to
come along and play 40k or fantasy or anything else. Normal Gobstyks
club entry applies, however priority will be given to Event tournament
players.

Also on the day there will be a raffle, and eventide boosters
available to buy, along with other gaming accessories….

There will be a snack bar available on the day, and there will be a
break for lunch of about 30mins, there are plenty of places in the
Lincoln high street that sell food, so you do not have to go far if
you require anything to munch. We do ask you not to bring any hot
smelly food into the venue, as it is a church thanks.
