NEWS SECTION
1.	Shadowmoor Pre-Release Report

With the Auora causing the world of Lorwyn to be plunged into eternal
night the world of Magic has become a darker more sinister place.
Shadowmoor is the first set of the second mini-block for Lorwyn-
Shadowmoor block, bringing with it a number of new abilities, mainly
revolving around -1/-1 counters and the all new untap symbol.
Shadowmoor also sees the return of Hybrid mana symbols in greater
force.

44 players pitched up to have the first glimpse of Shadowmoor and
compete it out to see who could walk away with the first place prize
of 1 booster box of Shadowmoor Boosters.  The room was unusally quiet
for a pre-release during deck construction as people tried to work out
more complex mana bases that the return of Hybrid mana symbols has
enabled.

The winner of the main pre-release was Francois Hauchard.
The winner of the secondary pre-release was Kevin Blake

We would like to thank all of those who came to the event and also the
staff who helped make the day the success it was.

2.	Grand Prix Trial Birmingham Report

May sees the Magic The Gathering Grand Prix come to England with Grand
Prix Birmingham.  All Star Gaming played host to a Grand Prix Trial
for this, with one lucky person winning themselves a third round bye.

28 players pitched up to play Lorwyn Block Constructed to duel it out
for the chance to recieve a third round bye.  Ath the end of the swiss
rounds the standings were as follows:

3.	Yu-Gi-Oh! Regional Championship Report

With the Yu-Gi-Oh! Nationals just round the corner All Star Gaming
played host to a Regional.
93 players turned up for the event, the largest Yu-Gi-Oh! Event we
have ever played host to.  The top 8 was as follows:
