NEWS SECTION

1)                  HAPPY NEW YEAR AND HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON

Hope you all had a good Christmas and a great New Year.
Our first event of the New Year is on the 13th January with a Magic GP
Trial and a WoW Regional Qualifier alongside our normal monthly
Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! events so lots to come out for.
The GP Trial is extended format so a great chance to practice for the
upcoming PTQ’s.
Then the following weekend we have the Magic the Gathering Morningtide
Pre Release, the second instalment in the Lorwyn sub block. Your first
chance to see the new cards at our fun venue.

2)                  WOW TCG BATTLEGROUND FORMATS ANNOUNCED FOR JANUARY
AND FEBRUARY

Following on from Decembers Battlegrounds we have sanctioned up a
number of events for January and February. We were unable to generate
much interest in the constructed Battlegrounds nights so for January
we will only be running March of the Legions Drafts. These drafts will
cost £7.50 plus the club fee. In February we will try some more
constructed events and see how they go.

Don't forget in addition to the cool EA Battleground cards you will
also win 1 booster for each match win.

3)                  	MAGIC THE GATHERING BUCKINGHAMSHIRE 2HG COUNTY
CHAMPIONSHIPS

We are pleased to announce we have been awarded the 2HG County
Championships for Buckinghamshire. The format is one Lorwyn tournament
deck and four Morningtide boosters.

This event will be held at our normal venue, the Holiday Inn hotel at
Handy Cross, High Wycombe on Sunday the 30th March 2008.

So find a partner and get practising.
