A Question about the New Releases Mails...
Hi guys and gals,
The New Releases mail that I post (roughly) every week is a trimmed
down version of the one I produce for work. The thing is there are a
number of items that we import in that most other retailers don't get
in (such as Wild Talents RPG and many Indy Press RPGs and Wargames).
Would you prefer me to list everything that has been released
(mainstream as well as obscure) each week or just stick to the titles
which will be more commonly available?
I will obviously continue to strip the prices off each title before
posting so stores can price according to their individual policies.
Thoughts?
Best wishes,
Angus

Personally I'd prefer as complete a list as possible, just for information
sake. Most of the stuff I get is indy, so makes a lot more sense. Also
you've done me proud finding stuff you didn't have in stock before, so I
guess whatever is likely to net you more sales.
Generally I use this as a guide to what I can get from you anyway, as
opposed to other stores.

As for me, I'm a Yank in the States, so availability is an entirely
different thing. I like getting the complete list so I have some heads up
before I go to the local store on Saturday...

This was the sort of time where people were prone to say
'God only knows'. However, it was generally conceded
that if there was anything God didn't know, this would most likely be it.

You might as well do the lot, because if someone really wants it,
they'll find a way to buy it. If nothing else, it might help the indy
producers by giving them a bit of publicity.

Complete list. This will encourage people to ask about more obscure games
and increase the chances of them getting ordered in and sold in the FLGS.

I definitely want to see everything on the release sheet. The "little" RPGs
are generally more interesting than the usual releases.

Re: A Question about the New Releases Mails...
Well the general response so far (both here and from a couple of
private emails people have sent me) is to send out a full list each
week. I'll start doing that from next week - still removing the prices
though.
Thanks for the replies.
