It's funny how even the tiniest appreciative
reaction can make an effort seem worthwhile, as
Jeanette's softly urging me on last night as she
cuddled in my lap for the first time since her
hospitalization, or here, when a one word response
made the careful crafting of an insulting posting
seem well repaid for my effort.
