KS2 story genres - definitions?
Trying to nail down the differences between the a fantasy tail and a
traditional tail for instance - where does a troll go???? Is there
must be somewhere where these are defined - QCA? but I'm damned if I
can find it - any ideas?

A traditional tail would be found on animals such as cats, a fantasy
tail would be found on cat-girls, and trolls don't have tails.

So, re-reading my message while mentally replacing tails with tales
and keeping cat-girls completely out of the picture (your hobbies are
your own affair) are there any suggestions, anyone?????

A little rude ... to someone who has been a major contributor to ICT
in Education since probably before you were born ... for a mere
oversight!

Marshal - I agree - a little overlap in your example!! Traditional
tales are supposed to be ones handed down from generation to
generation and fantasy ones probably are not.
