Chucking old floppy discs   
Is there a way I can avoid reformatting about 50 school floppy discs
to get rid of the info on them before chucking them?

A hammer is looking appealing at the moment.

I tried dropping them in a petrol station, but somebody had the
vapours.

Just for fun I googled, "how to destroy floppy disc".
