The real decorators only left yesterday afternoon. I got the hall,
stairs and landing done - the only thing I couldn't manage myself.
That's why I had to do the washing late in the day.
There was *no* room for washing in the house and I only put it on the
clothes horse.

1. I don't do that.
2. I had decorators in.
I've really improved this place. Next year - new carpet in the living
room and new garage door.

And they were still wet on the clothes horse this morning.
I had to put a damp polo shirt on.
They wudda died outside overnight without the rain.
