Rabit soaked in Bordeaux
No, it's NOT a recipe for a pie, Greebs. And it's quite a diffrent
thing from Bev soakin Bordeaux. I've just arrived in the centre of
Bordeaux in between showers and after a thorough soakin yesterday
walkin through the Medoc. I'm in an internet café next to the
cathedral of Saint André for the next hour only. I'll return to the
Staffroom online in a few minutes after I've done the blogue, if
anyone's around in the Staffroom.

Ooo! Bordeaux! That's a kind of wine, isn't it? Or is it a twin city of
Bristol? Or did someone once say "If you're bored with life, you're
bored with Bordeaux"?

I thought you were supposed to have nice sunny weather as you got
further south. You would have been better off walking round in circles
here - we have only had one day of rain in the last 4 weeks!

Where do you go next?

Maybe.
We thought it was a cow until we'd eaten it.

Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will whiz on your computer.

You do seem to be unlucky with your weather. The sun is shining here
and I hung the washing out with great confidence. I've been trying to
spread the word about the blogue.

Why is eating a horse worse than eating a cow?

If I post you some wet rabit socks could you dry them and post them
back to a Post Restante address for me?

A whole bus load of nuns waved to me a couple of days ago. I was on a
road coming out of Pons where I had gone wrong with my map reading and
walked all around the town twice. (That's known as 'Ponsing around' I
think...)

Leaving Bordeaux centre now. <Wave>

I wish they'd eaten all the bloody dogs. Yer rabit has been barked at
by every dog in France!

If I were you I would have been very afraid of those Ponsy bronze
pilgrims. They looked suspiciously like real human pilgrims that had
been turned to bronze by some evil spell, maybe by a nun taking her
revenge on disrespectful pilgrims.
