Microsoft via ECMA is seeking fast track approval of its XML document
format with ISO. There is a comprehensive list here

of why there are problems with the format as an ISO standard. This means
that a 30 day fast track is wholly inappropriate as more time is needed to
consider these issues properly. Anyone who agrees or disagrees with fast
tracking can E-mail the chair of the BSI panel, Francis Cave
(francis@franciscave.com).

Any objections need to be in by Friday at the latest, earlier is better.
