KS3 ICT tests
Where do we go now? The QCA have sent a lettter of 'formal advice' to
the minister saying the tests should not be compulsory. He is to reply
'in due course' - within 7 days seems likely.
If it is not compulsory in 2008 then it is difficult to see why you
would want to spend half a term preparing for the 'pilot' this year.
At the back of it - ICT is considered to be the most over estimated of
all subjects and a public collapse from a published 65-70% to 35-40%
would need some explaining.
