I promised that I'd mention here whenever there was a chance for you to see
the RISC OS kit that's around today. A few Acorn/RISC OS dealers have got
together to display (and sell!) some of the hardware/software beyond the reach
of the regular RISC OS Shows - in Glasgow and Newcastle (Tyne). In addition
there are the regular autumn shows at Guildford and in the Midlands.

The details are taken from Qercus (used to be called Acorn User magazine) and
I have to declare a personal interest there. I claim privilege (and ask your
pardon) as the shows are the best chance most of you will have of seeing the
current versions of this alternative to Windows. No entrance charge for the
first two events. I'll certainly be at the latter two events (family illness
may keep me from the first two) so if you do turn up please come and introduce
yourselves to me (I'm the harrassed one with the grey hair and glasses!).
