helping pupils understand what governors do
Hello, early in the new academic year I have been invited to talk to our
year 3 pupils about what the governors do and what their role is in the life
of the school. I'm not 100% sure how best to do this. Three things I thought
about was: a "discussion" about the phrase "critical friend"; talk about the
different "types" of governor and a map asking the pupils to locate the home
of governors (to show we are people in the local community).
Does anyone else have any similar experience or advice they would wish to
offer? Thanks.
