scan computers ? Scam no more?
Are Scan turning things around? I hear more people are getting
acceptable levels of after sales service from them, and they often have
good offers on.

My last purchase from them was fine and they even reduced their prices
when something was out of stock. I didn't have any faulty bits to
send back, which is the real test of a retailer.

True. They also seem to have an online presence on the Hexus forums.

No. The real test of a retailer is when you do have problems, they fix
them instead of arsing you around.

No you didn't!
You said "I didn't have any faulty bits to
send back, which is the real test of a retailer".
I said, "The real test of a retailer is when you do have problems,
they fix them instead of arsing you around".
You admitted you did not have any problems to fix, so you have NOT
given the retailer a "real test".

Had an issue with Scan last year - just the wrong mobo in the box - and it
was all settled with no hassle.
The advantage of being on Hexus Forums is that one can PM the sales team
which posts there.
