AV Scan: takes a long time
Hello

My AVG scan seems to take an awful lot longer than it used to...
+100,000 items.

Got a Dell Dimension 8400 with 146 GB HD, of which 100 GB seems to be
used...

I've deleted everything I don't use and it has little effect on my
usage.

It works okay but I just wondering where all the space as gone.

Thanks for your time

System Restore? The System Restore files can take up a load of space and
aren't normally visible in Explorer.

Also, try doing a disk cleanup then defrag. That might free up some space.
