Yes:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\<identity>\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Local Settings is a hidden folder, so you'll need to go into My Computer and
then Tools | Folder Options | View, and turn on Show Hidden Files and turn
off Hid Protected OS files.
The address book is in
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book
I'm not sure why the OE files and the address book are not in folders with
more similar paths.

Me neither :-(
I have all the above info written down on a piece of paper somewhere,
but as I have just started to reorganize it all, my son comes up with
the question of where is it? Hence my question on here.
Many thanks for that, I'll phone him up now.

Checked that and all is well.

I have found mine.
Found the one on my wife's computer at
C:\docs and settings\HP owner\app data\ms\address book.
The sent and rec folders falls down at the \Identities\ point on both my
wife's and my computer. (xp home and xp pro respectively.)

Is OK on my computer (xp pro) until I try to find the folder
'Identities'. It is not there :-(
Can anyone tell me the sent/rec file extension so that I can do a search
and pick up the path from that please.
Dave, getting baffled.

All problems are now solved.
Many thanks to those who posted to help my confused brain (I have had
two colds and two bouts of bronchitis over the last 5 weeks.)
