Access point as a "network card" ???
Picked up an old 3com 7250 wireless access point... and would like to
install it on a wired LAN, and persuade it to act like a "network card"
i.e..... use it to connect to a wireless router, so the wired LAN can get
onto the internet via the router, is this possible ?

I would prefer NOT to use WDS...

Any ideas ?

TIA

Look at the instructions or setup screen for anything that refers to a
wireless bridge.

My old Netgear AP cannot act as a direct connection so can only perform
as an AP, your's might be the same.

works fine for x-box and pc...
