XP Registry Problem
Looks as though I have a corruption in part of the registry tree which
prevents regedit doing an "export" and hence leads to Genie Backup Manager
stalling in the middle of its automated process.

I have traced where the fault is,
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/Print), and it also occurs
at the same branch in ControlSet002 and in CurrentControlSet. Click on the
"Print" folder and regedit complains "Cannot display ??: Error reading the
value's contents". (I'm guessing there is a faulty pointer somewhere in the
subtree).

I have constructed a "good" Print branch and was hoping to substitute for
this faulty one but .... I cannot Delete or Rename the duff one.

No registry fixer of mine will detect this - does anyone know of a
reasonable way either of mending the existing branch or of deleting it?

Thanks.
