You misquoted the URL
The correct one is -

They clearly need new LCDs, but the phones themselves might be
working. I am not going to splash money on LCDs because I don't know
how to fit them nor if any of the phones indeed work. Probably, they
do work, but need new LCDs.

Which would have been nice information to include in your oriiginal post, to 
save people wasting their time viewing the items when, if they knew the 
items where faulty, they wouldn`t have bothered.  Or indeed, you may even 
have people who are only looking for faulty items like these, who wouldn`t 
have viewed yours because you failed to accurately describe your items in 
your post.
