500,000 new .mobi listings !!
500,000 new .mobi listings !!

Find1.mobi, the leading Mobile Search portal announce the launch of 5
medical related directories with over 500,000 free listings.

Dentists1.mobi has 139,862 practioners listed.

Physicians1.mobi has 248,267 practioners listed.

Pharmacies1.mobi has 40,445 locations listed.

Hospitals1.mobi has 9,807 locations listed.

Clinics1.mobi has 70,535 locations listed.

The new domains have been specifically designed for mobile users, with
clear search and display functions, that are easy to use on hand held
screens.

It is widely believed that in the next 3 years the numbers of cellphone
searches for contact names and addresses related information, such as
Hotels, Taxis, Restaurants, Bars, Airports, and Travel Agents, will
exceed the same numbers of searches on the internet proper.

The 5 medical related directories are the latest of 40 activity related
portals, developed by FIND1.MOBI, to provide easy cellphone searching.

The additions of another 500,000 records almost certainly makes
Find1.mobi the largest mobile directory on the WWW.

The development of online mobile portals has been steady to date, but
the recent announcement by Google of their new Android platform along
with other members of the Open Handset Alliance, a group of 34 hardware
and software companies plus wireless carriers committed to creating open
standards for mobile devices, is likely to accelerate the numbers of
specifically mobile designed sites dramatically.

Google's new alliance includes some big names. Samsung, the number three
handset-maker, Motorola, the number two,and Sprint, an American wireless
operator. The heavyweights Nokia, Vodafone, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, not
to mention Apple and Microsoft are likely to join soon.

Google's interest in the Android platform is the 8 Billion cellphones
users, compared to just over 1 billion PC users.

Google is prepared to spend huge sums to make Android a success, since
it hopes to pipe ads onto Android phones.

This the latest example of Google's mobile strategy ...... to make more
money for its main business of "online advertising" by opening up the
mobile market.

The full list of Find1 mobile ready sites can be found at Find1.mobi
