FO: 14" G4 iBook (re-post)
My bro' in law's 14" G4 iBook is kaputen. I am pretty sure it is the
dreaded logic board problem. Until I wiped the HD it would boot up fine
and run smoothly for about 30' - and then freeze. Restarted fine but
freezes again after 5' (heat related?). In target disk mode after 30'
the screen goes all fuzzy and strange for a couple of minutes and then
returns to normal for 20'.

So he, and I, have not got the patience or inclination to fix it - he
just bought a new Macbook! He has given it to me to sell on for him. I
thought I would start here first before trying eBay. I would prefer to
sell as one complete item before considering breaking.

Would be able to deliver within a reasonable distance of South
Manchester, Burnley or Macclesfield - or you can collect. Posting as a
last resort !

Specs:-

1.33MHz
512Mb RAM
60 Gb HD (wiped - no OS)
14" screen in excellent condition
New battery - only 3 months old - 3 cycles.
New - only 3 months old - 65W ac charger
Case in very good condition except for 1 small crack under the apple key
and some very light surface scratches. No marks or dents and trackpad
area not discoloured. 4 feet present!

Can do photos if you are interested.

For more information or offers - eMail me please.

eBay completed items suggests I should get ~£80-100 ?

Regards
