Just bought a used battery for a 12" G4 Alu Powerbook on eBay.  It is 
the Genuine Apple A1079 model.  Unfortunately for me it doesn't fit 
properly in the 1st generation Powerbook (867 MHz) - which has the A1022 
battery - I thought that they would be interchangeable - they aren't!

Hence I haven't been able to verify the user's description - which is 
reproduced below.

Purchased summer of 2008 from an Apple reseller (CanCom). Has been used 
as a second battery and has around 15 charge cycles. When last used, the 
laptop lasted for around 3.5 hours on battery power.

Also, rather unfortunately again, it seems to have taken a small ding in 
the corner during postage - not too noticeable and I wouldn't have sent 
it back had it fitted. I can send a photo if you would like to see it.
