Wanted: some species of Mac-compatible TV tuner and software
Just to watch the TdF over the next 2.5 weeks, since it doesn't appear
this year to be available online in the UK.

Is it this model:
"Elgato's first EyeTV product was unveiled on September 29th at the 2002
Macworld Expo in New York. Made of white plastic and roughly
paperback-book in size, the $199 device was USB 1.1-based and had an
analog NTSC TV tuner."
or something else?
It needs to be able to manage digital TV.

It is usb 1 - the inbuilt tuner can only do uhf (no digital capability)
- it can record from component output or uhf aerial output via the
inbuilt tuner. Philip

I have a Miglia TV Mini 2 that arguably I don't need any more, yours for
20 quid plus whatever it costs to post (couple of quid?). They aren't
much more on eBay though so have a look there too though, can't say I'm
desperate to sell mine, I am a hoarder so even though there is a TV in
the same room as my Mac and I don't have a Mac laptop, if I can't get 20
quid for it I'm happy to keep it 'just in case...'.

Hi Daniele,
I have the Eye TV Diversity. It supports DV-T over with two tuners. This
gives you the ability to record a channel while watching another. Also
the two channels can double up, giving you a stronger signal. Useful if
your area has not converted from analog.
