I have two desktop Macs - an older tower G3 with a 1,000mhz G4 upgrade
chip, two hard drives and running 9.2.2 plus all my 9.2 software, and
an 800mhz G4 Quicksilver. Because it has all the software I want to
use - Photoshop, Quark, Typestyler etc - I use the G3 almost
exclusively and with the upgrade chip it is reasonably fast. But the
G4 has two hard drives and I am considering installing 9.2.2 on the
second and switiching everything to the G4. This would leave me with
the G3 to get rid of. I know you can hardly give them away, but do you
people think that what with G4 upgrade chip and two fast hard drives,
there might be just a little leeway in flogging off the G3 tower? Or
not?

I used to have a g3 mini towerr of g3 300 speed and 512 ram with two hard
drives  20 and a 8 was fast enough running 10.3 so should be well quick with
g 1ghx in it 100 quid maybe more for it depending on ram and other stuff
installed in it and also depends whether its a beige or a blue and white one
