WTB: Windows XP Home or Pro coa
I have an advent 4213 netbook I am thinking of selling but the xp home it
comes with needs re installing but the built in restore partition is no more
due to hd failure and it having a new one. the problem is the coa has worn
out due to being on a lap most of the time so no seriel to put in.
Anyone got one cheap?
Cheers

Hi, is that an oem branded one or a retail one? I would prefer either an
advent branded one or retail really so activating is easy and will be easier
to sell the netbook on again.
Cheers

A OEM / Branded are the same, whatever is written on it can be rubbed off
and it does make no difference. Dell HP Advent, they are all the same the
only difference is the word "Advent" but like I say witha ink rubber it
comes off so no problems there.
A retail copy is completely differernt. Its more you need to match it with
the version of XP you have installed, you cant use a OEM key with a Retail
CD / installation and vice versa
