Industrial power distribution strips anyone ?
Dunno if folk here might be interested ....

Mate down the road has about a dozen or so of these things.

Olson 15-way 13A (standard UK mains socket) strip.
Erm - the sockets are arranged "vertically" IYSWIM.
They are not individually switched - big red power-on indicator bulb.

At the moment the input consists of one of those feckin great blue plugs
about the size of a coffee mug (dunno what they're called) rated at 32A.
The input cable is about the diameter of your little finger - chunky.

These are feckin solid-as-you-like metal-cased things - definitely what
you'd want to survive a nuclear strike :-)

Maybe they're designed to bolt on to the side of server racks etc. - not
sure - or maybe for theatre lighting or summat.

Anyway - I'd say they're all the mains sockets you'd need for the rest
of your life :-)

Any interest ? Not sure what he's expecting to get ... 25 quid a-piece
mebbe ? I know they're over 100 quid to buy new ...
