Any clues
I was setting up my sisters laptop to send and recieve but it keeps asking
for the mail password. Set it up on my machine and it was fine. Checked,
checked again her settings but it still asks for a password. There was a
problem with the PC looking for kernas64.exe (Of which there is little on
Google, MSN or Lycos) which I sorted using a registry checker.

Anyone any ideas, I know I am clutching at straws here......

At risk of stating the obvious is there a "Remember Password" box
somewhere that has not been checked. They can sometime be in obscure places.

Re: Any clues
Hi Alec,

Solved the problem. Its a wanadoo broadband account and so the SMTP incoming
mail server, no matter who you have your mail account with, must be
wanadoo's hence it could connect via my system, but not with hers. What a
pain......
