A lot of newsgroups are losing favour, I think the trolls have pissed off a
lot of peeps.. Face book and the likes are easier... But glad to see you
back in here posting.. Will have to check AUP out properly now instead
of 'marking all as read'

it's not the trolls who've caused the lack of interest, its the isp's
who've screwed usenet up. they don't want to run news servers because
of the cost of all the binary ng's which take up a lot of bandwidth
and hard disk space. they could run txt only ng's, only most people
who know how to use usenet, like myself, want our binary ng's.

now torrents pages are being sued left right and center, lots of the
pages are now pointing out usenet is a safe way to download warez etc.
