Life Updates
So whos got a new love? new house? new job?
Well my wife has graduated as a psychiatric nurse, she has got a contract
where she worked before so that was lucky. I went for my Big Bosses job 2
grades above me, great interview but never got it, now I am working under a
new boss who depends heavily on me, thats a laugh. Diabetes not worse, but
not better, thats why I will be on insulin to help me control it better. My
middle boy has gone back to the 6th form, youngest is still doing well also,
both have weekend jobs in the same place, so thats cool. House is getting
into shape, we have never had money to spend on it til now, so that looks
good. We got the garden sorted, well at least one of them, two big bags of
slate, a lot of shoveling and backache. Just waiting for planting time to
come now. Been doing research on various plants for careful planning. All is
looking well, ish

My news...
Bridie has moved back home, she is working in the local premier travel inn
as a receptionist... John is doing his GCSE's, still intending on joining
the army, on about army college in Harrowgate when he is 16. Ali now
attends school full time on Monday and Tuesday, the rest of the week he is
doing mornings...Stephen is away working in Chicago... So i have the house
all to myself a lot of the time, thinking about doing a OU course or
something on Travel and Tourism...

No new love, I'm stuck with the old one and like it that way. Moved
house a year ago, from a really crappy house to a crappy house, so I
guess it's a step up. Great garden though. No new job. Trying to take
care of everyone in this house is a double fulltime job anyway. The boys
are now 3 and Sara will be 13 in a month. She's doing really well in
school. I don't even know why I bother going to parents evening anymore.
All the teachers have to say is that there's absolutely no problems and
that they wish all their students were like her. I'm lucky, I just hope
it stays that way now that she'll be a terrible teenager. Had surgery
for a rotator cuff tear back in May and that was a nightmare. It worked
though, I can finally move my arm again. Have to do physio for at least
a year . The worst exercise is the one that looks easiest, go figure.
Oh, and I'm going to Sweden for a week, all on my own, on Oct 3rd. I
just hope everyone will still be alive when I get back. :)

Re: Life Updates
Well that dont seem too bad, I know what you mean about the house, but the
ladder will be climbed soon and you will look back and laugh. The boys 3,
wow, time flies by alright, yours is a great story for an online romance.

Well no increase is the main thing, and you have done well in your job,
wasn`t too long ago there were redundancies if I remember right.

So not much going on then? ;)
Me, I'm on the big countdown for the BIG day... 8 weeks from tomorrow (only
because that sounds like more than 'under 2 months'!!!).... dresses still to
finish sewing, cake to decorate (but at least the fruit cakes are baked!)
everything else is sorted *sigh*

Re: Life Updates
Ho-hum... No new love - stuck with the old one I'm afraid lol. The house is
still the same half-decorated pit that it was last time I posted.
Kyra was 4 in May & started school full time on the 17th. She had another
bad spell at the end of July & spent most of the holidays poorly and in
hospital :( She bounced back tho and is fine now :) She was really nervous
about school but so far is really enjoying it. It's only been a week tho, so
give it time lol.
I think that's about all the news I've got lol

Awwwwwwwwww poor Kyra.... Ali had his operation last July (2006) the 24 hour
minor operation, turned into three months of hospital and 3 separate
operations.. Then to top it all, in December last year, he had his post op

back in this May, this time was only a three week ordeal, But he has still
not had his post op check up, they keep bloody cancelling it...

Yup, he never listens to both side of the story. There was one woman on
there who had cancer, and her b/f was a pisshead.. Jeremy Piles had a right
go at the b/f.. The next day he had a mother on there who had cancer, her
and her son did not talk, she had put him into care, had him seeing a
psychotherapist from age 4, lots of problems.. Anyway, the mother wanted to
keep the son out of her and her daughters life, while she concentrated on
fighting her cancer, But Piles had a right go at her, saying she should
stop being so self pitying and look out for her son... No consistency..

Getting married at a lighthouse.... honeymoon is all booked and paid for
(going for a Cruise to Vanuatu)... so if it all gets too hard, I just need
to pick out a theme for the 'Sorry, it's cancelled we've eloped' card to
send all the guests! ;)
