Well I finally did it................
I made the jump from Type 2 Diabetes to Type 1, I will get my first batch of
insulin next week. Cant say I am positive about it all, but had a long talk
with several of my nurses, and they seem to have reassured me. I think I was
listening to them most of the time....lol

My brother has to take insulin shots everyday and have no problams with
that. His biggest problem was giving up the doughnuts. He cheats
occasionally and tries to hide it by using lots and lots of deodorant to
cover the sweet smell. That's not really working though since his wife
knows what he's been doing if he stink of deodorant.

LOL, funny you say that, as since I gave up sugar i have no problem sniffing
a cup of tea and knowing it has sugar in it without having to taste it.

Yeah, I must admit I am very bitter about it, call it self pity maybe. But I
just feel cheated in life. Bit sad when others have a lot worse problems I
know. But if all goes well, insulin will make let be more in control and
enjoy life a bit better.

one now - he takes it off and scares the kids with it.... soooooo funny LOL
