Zimbabwe is crying out for democracy. Almost the entire population of
Zimbabwe would welcome an invasion of their country by the British
army to impose free and fair elections.

By contrast, Afghans......... and Moslems generally ...... want
nothing at all to do with democracy and freedom.

Dictatorship is a lynchpin of Muslim religion and culture.
They want it.

It's the British soldiers I feel sorry for, coming home with arms and
legs blown off, fighting to force democracy and freedom upon a
population who want nothing at all to do with democracy and freedom.

More British soldiers who took part in the Falklands war died by
suicide from post-traumatic stress after coming home than were killed
in the actual fighting in the Falklands war.

I reckon the percentage of suicides among veterans of the war to force
freedom on the Afghans, who want nothing to do with freedom, will be
even higher than among Falklands veterans.

If wars fought by New Labour were about freedom and democracy, the
British army would have invaded Zimbabwe a long time ago.

It's about an oil pipeline, and also about mental illness in
politicians.

Expect more suicides, as those poor unfortunate British soldiers find
out that they've been had.
