You're thrown off buses, glared at and told what you're doing is obscene
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1198433/Why-breastfeeding-STILL-taboo.html

The main point of the article was to show how England is still
unfriendly toward breastfeeding in public places, by comparison to
other parts of the world.

The explanation of that aspect lies partly in the cultural perceptions
and peer pressure operating within a particular region.

I would say that nearly all men and most women throughout the world
feel highly uncomfortable in the presence of a breastfeeding mother.

People in other countries feel just as uncomfortable about it as
Britons do, and wish it were not happening their presence, but they
remain silent because.... well .... for example, how can people in an
impoverished region object to something that is a matter of survival,
the difference between life and death for the baby?

------------------------------------------------------------

But the feeling of discomfort is there, and it shows here in England
more than elsewhere.

Why the discomfort at being in the presence of a breastfeeding woman?

The tragic young girl Oxana Malaya inadvertently supplied us with the
answer to innumerable unanswered questions that previously had
tormented many of us.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyqbnDjId7g

Oxana demonstrated for us the intensity of the urge to IMITATE and
REPEAT our earliest experiences, particularly those associated with
physical survival.

Every human being, male and female, has that powerful urge to IMITATE
and REPEAT breastfeeding, just as Oxana has that powerful urge to
IMITATE and REPEAT the love that the dogs gave her.

---------------------------------------------------------

Next, consider this:

those who care for 'feral children' report that the process of
"rewiring their brains," teaching them 'normal' human behaviour is
hugely distressing to those children.

In other words, to PROHIBIT a child from IMITATING and REPEATING early
formative experiences associated with survival is hugely distressing
to the child.

Next: every mother in the world committed that act of hideous cruelty
and child abuse against every baby - prohibiting you from imitating
and repeating your early, formative experiences associated with
survival.

We all have a certain emotional complex buried deep inside us, rage
and hate against the mentally ill mother who did that to us, and an
intolerable longing to regain the blissful harmony and sanity of the
early mother-infant relationship, meaning that lost primal interlude
before the toxic shame kicked in and the baby realised with dawning
horror that the mother and all the adults are mentally ill....

So that's what's going on when the bus driver throws you off a bus for
breastfeeding, to the relief of all the passengers you were
tormenting....

He and his passengers are gripped with an intolerable longing for the
lost love of early infancy, that precious, primal interlude of decency
before the mother went mad.

So to take the general case: the secretion of bodily fluids in a public place
should be OK then?

They are being passed from person to person, unseen. Bit of a special
case really.

If it's done under a blanket!

I couldn't care less if women breastfeed in public. But I've seen for myself
the way some new mothers go into "look at me!" mode with their babies, they
make sure everyone knows they've bravely gone through the ordeal of
childbirth. They make sure we all hear them by talking very loudly to the
newborn, make sure the pram is in the way so we all trip over it, wear a
highly amusing slogan on theirs and the babys' clothes, and then give you a
dirty look if you happen to glance over when she's got her tit out.

Typical woman.... stroppy when you don't pay her attention, stroppy when you
do.

Not really. I can think of other examples of bodily fluids being passed
from person to person, unseen, which would cause great offence in a
public place. Hell, some of them cause great offence to many even where
they take place behind closed doors.

The Metropolitan Police & ECHG, English Churches Housing Group 110709 The Riverside Group
The Homophobic Hate campaign by English Churches Housing Group
(ECHG),Hammersmith & Fulham Council and The Metropolitan Police is
still continuing – at the moment my tormentors think it is acceptable
to run a Hate campaign and they do not think they have done anything
wrong.

The authorities know who I am, but they think it is acceptable for a
group of people to run a homophobic hate campaign.

I have to deal with a lot of hate from my tormentors – both, major and
minor incidences – at the moment, my tormentors are enjoying
themselves enormously and they are hoping I will loose my temper –
when I do get an investigation into this hate campaign - most people
will be horrified by the hate I have to suffer.

My Tormentors take an enormous pleasure in making my life a living
hell - my Tormentors see me as a soft target. I am not scared of them
nor am I afraid of them - I will get a full criminal investigation
into this hate campaign - on my terms and I will not shut-up until I
get to the bottom of everything these criminals have done - I mean
everything and in the process I will clear my name which my Tormentors
have elegantly blackened.

When the whole truth comes out of what has happened - you will find
that I am a Law-abiding citizen and a veteran of the Falklands
Campaign.
