Capital scoops best city for seventh year in row

EDINBURGH has been named best city in the UK in a leading travel
industry awards scheme.

The Capital came out on top for the seventh year in a row in the
Guardian Travel Awards, which were being held for the 20th time.

The honour came in the wake of the city picking up a series of
plaudits in the last year, including being named the fifth most
talked about place in the world, after New York, Paris, Barcelona,
and Sydney.
