Has anyone out there got an old bike mouldering away in the back of their 
garage? Something you don't need any more but don't know what to do with? If 
so, please let me know! Actually, just the wheels will do nicely, though 
they need to be sort of adult-sized - small kids' bikes won't be big enough.

Friends of the Earth are in charge of all the recycling at SolFest this 
year - www.solwayfestival.co.uk - and we're planning to cycle around the 
campsite with sturdy bike trailers to collect everyone's bottles and cans 
and stuff. We need old bicycle wheels to make these trailers.

We will be the SolFest ReCyclists!

Check out the SolFest website - there are some excellent bands on this 
year - and volunteers get free tickets. (Why else do you think I'd be 
spending a weekend collecting rubbish?)
