North East and Cumbria Beer Festival
Copied from "Sunderland Echo" - I have no further details at present:-
"Real ale drinkers will be raising their glasses next week when
Washington Arts Centre hosts the second North East and Cumbria Beer
Festival.
"The Courtyard festival, which will run from Monday until Easter
Monday, March 28, will feature a range of cask ales sourced from the
best micro breweries in the North East and Cumbria.
"The Courtyard bar at the centre in Biddick Lane, Fatfield
(Washington), is operated on a franchise by Daryl Frankland, owner of
the King's Arms in Deptford.
"The festival will have at least 14 ales on offer at any one time.
Featuring 10 micro brewers from the North East and Cumbria, there will
be more than 40 real ales to choose from.
"Opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 11am to 11pm, and noon to
10.30pm on Good Friday and Easter Sunday."
