Bathroom Tiling query
Hi All

A neighbour has removed the old tiles from his bathroom walls and much of
the plaster with them

He wants to prepare the wall for tiling.

The bathroom is to be tiled throughout.

The bathroom suite is also to be replaced

Does he need to replaster first or can he tile directly to the brick?

If he does need to replaster could he dry line with plasterboard?

Is there a special board that can be used in bathrooms for this purpose?

Regards

Tony

I'd suggest skimming the walls with a waterproof cement mix
You won't need to get a plaster like finish, just make sure its flat
then tile over once nice and dry
