Can anyone recommend a Campsite ?
Not a large commercial one but a smaller one, only interested in the basics,
but walking distance to a pub would be nice. Location wise - not too
fussed - maybe near to Scafell or Skiddaw ?
Thanks

Hollins Farm, Boot is a favourite. Boot has two decent pubs, one is
excellent. A small shop in the village. Campsite is level, medium
sized, good facilities, nothing flash just comfortable. Scafell
walkable from the site. It's well away from the masses. You have to
go over Wrynose and Hardknott passes to get to it.

If you follow my map, you may never reach a pub, Rob. If I were you, Robbie,
I'd have one in my inside pocket, a little shiny flat one, full of warming
lubricant to fettle a parched throat. Keswick is full o pubs and Threlkeld
has two or three and........
Is this me writing this? Somebody come to my rescue please.
Edith.

Well, it only affected my ISP's news server. Mine PC is fine.
The rain has stopped too. Just enough to water the grass and
gardens. Thanks!
