Bakeries in Scotland
Hello!
I'm a German baker (www.siegsdorfer-schreckgespenst.de) and I'm looking
for a way to work in a bakery in Scotland to learn there new products
and technics. Does anybody knows a save way to find work there from
Germany? Are there also German bakeries in Scotland? I think some
German bakeries should be in Edinburgh...
Two years before I was also looking for a job in U. K. and found a
place in Wick (The Cliff Bakery), but it was not a good time to take it.
I was working then in Canada (Quebec) and Greece. The bakery in Wick
told me that they are working with a very old stoneoven and firewood.
Is this typical for Scotland? We have here in Bavaria and Austria
industrial oil ovens with more as one etage for the bread.
I also read often in German travel books that Scotland should have a
great nature (different with the Alps) and should be very lonely like
Canada... also I read that Scotland was one time a part of North
America... it was not together with Europe!
Which is the best place to spend a great holiday in Scotland? Is it
very expensive?
