Wasdale Head Inn had to cut short its beer festival and evacuate this
weekend when a fire started in the main building. 

10 rooms on 3 floors are smoke-damaged, and extensive damage includes
a stairwell but Howard hopes to have the hotel functioning again by
Friday, and the bar maybe sooner.
