Don't stay out there on the high sea waves
Don't shed off your Cumbrian ways
Don't forget us on that northern shore
And come home lass, if life's a bore
Remember lass, if not met with glee
That there's many a fish left in the sea
Be your kind self now, bad times will pass
And if it doesn't work out, then - COME HOME lass.
