No family left
Directors' shareholdings smaller % than expected (but still enough to
make hefty sums if sold, though)
Lots of local shareholders saying they are refusing to sell,
including some with quite substantial holdings eg 1.2%
Acceptance day is May 19th.
We are running a "Keep Jennings Local" campaign, with leaflets,
stickers, a petition, and as much press and TV coverage as we can
get, in the hope that other local shareholders might keep the faith!
Petition forms can be downloaded from www.cumbriacamra.org.uk and
there is a return address on them, if anyone wants to help.

Re: Don't throw Jennings to the Wolves
I've signed and told W&D that they're not getting my 531 shares.

:o)))))))))
We were out with the town crier in Whitehaven Market yesterday and
got another 1300+ signatures!!
We're getting loads of newspaper and TV publicity, too.
I wonder what chance of W&D withdrawing when they realise how much
they are not wanted?
