I've decided the Lock Ness monster is a Sakusuchus (from Scotland) Bit like
Ally when you come to think of it.

Does anyone agree?

Having met Ally, I can testify that she is not at all monstrous.

I thought that Nessie was one of a breeding pair of a species known as
Diuthinctheisaurus.

diurnal parallaxes = The parallax of a celestial body using two points on
the surface of the earth as the earth rotates and be sure it says exlax on
the box and don't take more than one.

Here's something suggested by a friend who is a very distinguished
breeder of standard Schnauzers. It claims to help your pet retain his
natural look and (get this) his *self-esteem* after you have him seen to.

http://www.neuticles.com/index1.html

Of course, it doesn't solve the problem of not having a breeding pair
and it has sweet Fanny Adams to do with Cumbria.

Are they serious? This isn't a wind-up? Some people really do have too much
money these days, don't they?

A friend of mine in Edinburgh had her dog 'seen to' a couple of years ago,
and got me to come and take some photos of his ...er... huevos.... before
they were removed. I've known her since primary school but I still thought
this just a wee bit odd. However, any time the pooch feels a bit lightweight
at the rear end she can now show him the photos.

Indeed. Nothing to do with Cumbria.

Good grief.

No,neuticles are genuine. My pal knows a couple of dogs who have 'em.
They have also been shown on television, recently. They're made of
silicone, and look like little plastic eggs, with a ridged sort of texture.

If you look at the website you will see that they also do prosthetic
eyes for doggies, and supports for broken ear cartilege which is
probably a good idea. I've heard of at least one dog whose droopy jowls
were nipped and tucked, because he kept getting infections, so they did
both sides to even him up.

Yes, I was a wee bit tempted to buy the keyring or perhaps a pair of
earrings, sporting neuticles. Great talking point that... except that when
you told people what it was, nobody would believe you!

Certainly a talking point, but it would only be the truth if someone
complimented you by saying: "Those earrings really are the dog's b******s!"

Phew, I thought you were refering to the orignals!

TBH I'm not convinced about 'em. OK he'll look like a real dog but
without real bollocks isn't the hormone balance going to be all to
cock? And why do they remove 'em rather than just remove a section of
the sperm duct like they do with humans?

It's probably cheaper. They just make a wee slit in the sac and pull 'em
out, I think. Snipping sperm ducts sounds a bit more delicate and probably
takes more time.

Falsies or no, the old dog will still have a squeaky voice...

Oh, heck

Testicles do two jobs. They make the sperms and they also make hormones.
A vasectomy does just what you mentioned, it cuts the sperm duct from
the sperm producing area, which only stops sperms getting out, nothing
else; let's say that the "noodles" are prevented from getting into the
"soup" and after a few days, die and dissolve. Vasectomy doesn't stop
the testicles continuing to put male hormones directly into the
bloodstream, like any other gland. This is a good thing in humans who
want to continue to shave and crave spectator sport, cars and - oh, yes,
sex, but makes for aggressive, smelly, randy dogs.

Doesn't take that long and it ain't that delicate... and the hole
needed to get a testes through is bigger than that for a loop of duct.

Though it appears the real reason is to reduce the dogs agression and
randyness. Sticking a couple of prosthetics in is purely a fad for the
owner it ain't going to make the dog feel "complete" as in agressive
or randy, no matter what the marketing puff says.

I know...and men shouldn't do it either, just to prevent a law suit.

So birth control is all down to the woman then? Both myself and my
partner don't like bits of rubber, from the feel or the messing about.
