We're going on Wednesday. As a real HGTTG geek from way back (the
radio series was the best imho), I'm a bit nervous about how it's been
done, and I can't believe I'll be able to accept Ford Prefect as a
black American, but I'm trying to keep an open mind on it.

It is fine, thanks: the sump was apparently rusted through and they
had to install a new one. I cycled into town the next day to pick it
up, and now that my bike is in working order again I'll probably be
using it a bit more, so that's one positive thing that's come out of
it.
